After becoming a father, Luka decides to work on his relationship with his father. Accompanied by an unlikely assortment of supporting characters, such as an old farmer, a John Malkovich lookalike, a priest and a podcast host, the father and son travel through villages, towns and countries, constantly asking themselves – would it have been wiser to keep it all under the carpet?
